Harald Lytomt (electric and acoustic guitars, flute)
Tore Johansen (electric guitars)
Jostein Hansen (bass)
Per Oyvind Nordberg (C3 organ)
Tore Fundingsrud (drums)

I don’t remember why, but Tore Johansen’s contributions to the Journey on the Inside came so late that only The Initiator was included on the CD. Devotion and Leaving No Stones Unturned were only issued on the vinyl album, which was released in Norway only.
This, of course, is a shame (not to collectors, though), because these great songs fit perfect into the story. Devotion is recorded with the whole band, and once again the old Hammond C3 organ is being used for the melody line. I had the privilege of playing this Instrument with a capitol I. There’s a big difference in playing synthesizers and playing a Hammond organ. The start-up procedure itself is a process that requires a loving hand and the right technique.
" Be a good boy now, that’s the way, come on, don’t fail me, please, yes". It takes a couple of minutes of caressing and hoping. You can almost feel that this instrument has it’s own soul!
Anyway, the melody line proceeds with guitars and flutes. This is another typical Kerrs Pink song, full of an indefinable longing, unnamed wondering and thoughtful expressions.
Tore is a real thinker. And he puts a lot of Devotion into his music!
