Preferably my diet consists of honey
Which I`ve stolen from the queen bee
I enjoy myself until I`m full
In the shadow of a tree
Before the arrival of winter
I`ve found a lair
A cosy place for me
And my she-bear
We`re yawning a little
Living off reserves of fat
And sleeping peacefully

Bamse Brakar:

Harald Lytomt (electric and accoustic guitars, flute)
Tore Johansen (electric guitar)
Jostein Hansen (bass, lead vocals)
Halvard Haugerud (el-piano, backing vocals)
Trond Bohn (C3 organ)
Terje Solas (drums, backing vocals)
Steinar Straumdal (backing vocals)

It all began as a jam over a looping bass lick. Within a short time Harald and Tore J.created a tasty guitar riff, playing that in harmony. Then in peace and quietude Harald developed the next themes. Jostein came up with the melody line and the lyrics. This is a variant to "Parringsstevet", having two instruments answering each other, but this time it would concern organ and piano melodies written by Harald. It couls be argued that this is our most catchy song on the first album. The lyrics is about a girl that Halvard and I once knew. The only thing that was strange about her was that she pretended to be living together with a boyfriend named Björn (Bear), but he was never there or anywhere else. But that kept us at her desired distance! Anyway, at least he got a song! This is Jostein's first lead vocals ever on record!

If you want the the lyrics in norwegian, please go to the LP version.
